Italian Women Who Rock the Wine World

25 W 43rd St Suite 1700, New York, NY 10036, USA

"Women Who Rock the Wine World" is an educational tasting workshop designed to empower women with the tools to appreciate not just the taste of fine wines, but also the deep cultural heritage, history, and traditions of Italian winemaking. This special series will spotlight the lesser-known wine-producing regions of Southern and Central Italy — beginning with Sicily, Puglia, and Umbria — and promote the discovery of Italy’s diverse and storied viticultural landscape beyond Tuscany. Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with a regional Italian cheese, introducing guests to Italy’s extraordinary, often lesser-known cheese varieties, and teaching the art of pairing food and wine to enhance both flavor and cultural appreciation. The workshop will be led by JoAnn LoGiurato, a distinguished wine expert with multiple degrees in wine education. After a successful career in corporate sales, JoAnn dedicated herself to wine education with a particular passion for empowering women to feel confident in the world of wine tasting and food pairing. Registration fees: Members $75 | Non members $85 Registration will include workshop, the wine, and the cheeses and crackers. The course will start promptly at 6 pm. Room must be vacated by 8 pm.

Testimonials

“As an Italian lifestyle blogger and marketing professional, NOIAW has allowed me to connect and build relationships with professional women of Italian descent, all while celebrating our beloved heritage. I moved from Italy when I was nine years old, and this organization has helped me feel connected to my culture through their various events and resources. Learning about the paths and successes of many women who are NOIAW members is truly inspiring, and it makes me proud to be part of this group”.
