“A wonderful organization promoting the heritage and culture of Italian American women. Attended events promoting food at local bakeries, food distributors, wine, art at museums, zooms on vacation destinations, dinners promoting la Tavola… family dinners, and even a trip to Puglia, Matera, and the Greek Ruins in Campania. Happy I joined NOIAW and met other professional Italian/American women like me.”

Annette Lantieri

My grandparents were born in Italy and migrated to America in the early 1900s. My parents were raised in Brooklyn and kept Italian culture alive throughout my childhood and most of my adulthood. My dad passed away in 1995, and my mom in 2014. Unfortunately, a lot of Italian culture died with them. The most monumental was Sunday dinner, macaroni and meatballs, followed by meat and vegetables, followed by dessert and coffee. NOIAW has pulled me back into my Italian heritage and roots. Attending events feel nostalgic and warm I am honored and grateful to be part of this organization.

— Antoinette Lanteri

“As an Italian lifestyle blogger and marketing professional, NOIAW has allowed me to connect and build relationships with professional women of Italian descent, all while celebrating our beloved heritage. I moved from Italy when I was nine years old, and this organization has helped me feel connected to my culture through their various events and resources. Learning about the paths and successes of many women who are NOIAW members is truly inspiring, and it makes me proud to be part of this group”.
