NOIAW Member Angelina Fiordellisi Announces Sabbatical
Longtime member and friend of NOIAW, Angelina Fiordellisi, Founder and Artistic Director of Cherry Lane Theatre in New York, has announced that she is taking a year-long sabbatical.
Angelina founded Cherry Lane 20 years ago, and to date the theatre has supported the work of over 3,500 artists. Of her work there, she said in an e-mail announcement: “I’m very proud of and extremely grateful to each and every one of you for giving me one of the most profound and exciting experiences of my life. Encouraging me, challenging me, educating me and supporting me, the staff and our programs as we try our best to serve our community. It is through our combined efforts that we have made and continue to make a significant contribution to the American theater.”
We wish Angelina the best in all of her projects!
