The benefit concert will feature a full performance by the Broadway Star Franc d’Ambrosio, the Italian Tenor Luciano Lamonarca, and Maestro Roberto Cani, violinist and concertmaster of the Los Angeles Opera. Special guests in attendance on Saturday will be Hon. Robert P. Astorino, Westchester County Executive, NY, and The Most Reverend Peter Byrne, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York. On Sunday the special guests will be Archbishop Bernardito C. Auza, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United Nations, and the Emcee of the event will be Donna Drake, host and executive producer of “Live it Up! with Donna Drake” TV show on CBS, WLNY-TV, and radio show.

ABOUT FRANC D’AMBROSIO

franc-headshotFranc d’Ambrosio is an American singer and actor, best known for his impressive portrayal of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber‘s Tony Award-winning musical “The Phantom of The Opera,” for which he was awarded the distinction of being the “World’s Longest Running Phantom,“ having performed it more than 2,300 times in a decade.

Franc’s extraordinary achievements also include an Academy Award-nominated film, an Emmy Award-nominated television show, a four-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway show, two Grammy Considerations, and a National Theater Award Nomination.

Franc is also known worldwide for being the actor and singer who played the part of Anthony Corleone, the opera-singing son of Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) and Kay Adams-Corleone (Diane Keaton) in the
film “The Godfather: Part III.” Franc sang the Academy Award-winning theme song “Speak Softly Love” (Brucia la Terra) for both the film and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
