Lucilla Galeazzi at Carnegie Hall

Take a journey to the rural south of Italy with acclaimed vocal artist Lucilla Galeazzi. Galeazzi transports you through the hills of her native Umbria and then down to legendary Calabria and Puglia with her adaptations of traditional Italian folk songs. These ancient melodies, witness to the rich culture of Italy’s storied past, are made new again through Galeazzi’s exquisite voice and engaging style.Galeazzi’s arrangements of Italian songs and dance melodies celebrate the beauty and vitality of the Mediterranean’s multicultural heritage with an ensemble that features fiddles, guitars, and percussion.

She will perform at the gorgeous Zankel Hall, Carnegie Hall’s newest venue, where we will sit in the Parterre section. Take a look at a recent performance in the video below.
