Discover the History of Italian Greenwich Village

One hundred years ago, Italians settled in the neighborhood south of Washington Square Park. Many of the cafes, bakeries, and other family businesses they established endure to this day and give the South Village its unrivaled charm.

Dive into the fascinating history of this classic New York neighborhood on a private tour with NOIAW’s Long Island Regional Network. The tour is given by Joyce Gold, a recognized author and expert in New York history for over 25 years.
Lunch, at your own cost, will follow the tour at 12:30PM at Village restaurants Villa Mosconi, Monte’s Trattoria, and PortoBello.
