Join NOIAW’s Westchester Network for a tour and reception at the Rye Arts Center! We’ll view the exhibition of Italian painter, Nenne Sanguineti Poggi.
Born in the City of Savona into a noble family of Italian intellectuals, Poggi was an acclaimed painter, mosaicist, writer, and journalist. Her paintings, which have been shown on three continents, reveal a strong influence from Africa, where she lived for 30 years, and range in style from figurative post-impressionism to pure abstraction.
