In making the announcement, Maria Tamburri noted: “We are delighted and fortunate to have Pat as our National President to help guide the expansion of our organization during this challenging time.”

“During the last year, Pat has led the way from Connecticut in reshaping in-person programs to virtual events reaching hundreds more members across the continent and overseas,” asserted Tamburri. “Her enthusiasm and dedication to our Italian culture and proven organizational skills enrich and benefit all.”

In accepting the appointment, Pat stated: “I’m deeply honored to have been elected to this post in the same year that this pre-eminent Italian American organization celebrates its 40th anniversary. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Pat brought her passion for all things Italian to Connecticut where she founded ViniVittiDici.com, a cultural salon for Italophiles, and she facilitates a weekly “Caffè and Conversazione” group in Norwalk, which is now virtual. ViniVittiDici.com is an extension of Pat’s strategic communications firm, PatTinto.com.
