Stay Tuned: Women’s History Programming in March!
NOIAW invites you to stay tuned for virtual programming coming in March for Women’s History Month!
What does it mean to you to be an Italian American woman?
Do you have a story to share about your culture, your heritage, or your experience as a woman? How has your Italian heritage influenced your choice of career, your educational path, your outlook on life, the ways you mother your children, the way you decorate your space, the way you feed yourself and others, your ways of getting through this pandemic of 2020/2021?
Share your story with us by video (send an mp4 video clip under one minute in length to us at noiaw@noiaw.org) so that we can share it on our social media! You may also submit a written reflection of 500-700 words to use, with any accompanying clear jpg or png format photos, at the same address, for us to publish on our blog.
Check out an interesting and poetic blog entry contributed here by Joanna Clapps Herman.
