Kindly note: Enter the Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building (10 First St SE) via the carriage entrance on the ground level (located beneath the large exterior staircase). This is the entrance for reserved tours.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the reserved tour start time as everyone will need to process through security. After clearing security, continue straight ahead to the Visitor Information Desk where Library staff will greet you. Coat check and restrooms are available on the ground level near this desk.

Anyone who would like to purchase lunch can visit the cafeteria in the Library of Congress after the tour.
