Kathleen Biehl is a sophomore in the Villanova School of Business, majoring in Marketing, with minors in English and International Business. Her goal is to work in fashion marketing after graduation. Kathleen will continue her studies abroad next fall in Italy. She is excited for this outstanding opportunity learn more about business in a global context, as well as to learn more about her heritage and visit her ancestors’ homeland! Amanda Rae Davis is a second-year law student at Brooklyn Law School and is an honors graduate of the City University of New York, Staten Island with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Political Science. Upon graduation, she received multiple student leadership and community service awards. In 2011, she founded Stand Up, Stay Strong, an anti-bullying organization. Letizia Sinisi is Founder and Root Travel Designer at ItalyRooting Consulting, a Root Travel Design network of excellence to create reconnection bridges with the most authentic Italy. Letizia is an experienced manager of international corporations, a certified Destination Manager, Consultant and Trainer on Customer Services and Business Organization.
Carla Spensieri is an English Teaching Assistant sponsored by a Fulbright fellowship at the Universidade dos Vales do Jequitinhona e Mucuri. As a Fulbright recipient, Carla teaches at a federal university in Brazil. Her father is from Molise, Italy, and her mother is from Santiago de Cuba; they met in Queens. Jennifer Tattanelli is Creative Director and Owner at Jennifer Tattanelli, a luxury designer with ateliers in Florence, London, and the Hamptons. Jennifer grew up between Italy and the United States; born in Florence to an Italian father and American mother, she spent summers in the Hamptons with her grandmother, artist Jane Ewing. She launched her career at CK in New York before returning to Florence to expand the family business. Jennifer lives with her family in Florence and summers in the Hamptons, Her children’s smiles are Jennifer’s greatest inspiration.
Mandy Zito is the Survivor Resource Navigator for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation located in Rhode Island. She supports and guides newly diagnosed women and survivors to resources available through the Foundation and in the surrounding community to provide for their mind, body & spirit wellbeing. Mandy coordinates programs that address issues facing cancer survivors, for example, nutrition, sexuality, and spa days. Many times her support is offered as a one-to-one visit. In her spare time, Mandy likes to travel, particularly to Italy where she visits family. Connect with Mandy on LinkedIn.
