Tour the Italian Embassy with NOIAW in Celebration of Italian Heritage Month — October 29 at 10:45AM (Washington, D.C.)

 

Join the Greater Washington DC Region for a visit to the Italian Embassy in celebration of Italian Heritage Month! Greater Washington DC Region Member, Patricia Violante Cassetta, Senior Professional Staff at the Embassy, has graciously coordinated a meeting with Embassy officials followed by a special tour.

Luca Franchetti Pardo, Deputy Chief of Mission, will speak about the Embassy’s mission and how it differs from others around the world. Carlo Romeo, First Counselor of Consular Coordination and Social Affairs, will discuss the Consulate’s partnership with Italian American organizations. Renato Miracco, Cultural Attaché, will discuss ongoing and upcoming cultural events. Franco Impala, First Secretary of Cultural Affairs, will discuss the Embassy’s use of social media and the type of information they share. After the meeting, Patricia Violante Cassetta
will lead the tour.

If anyone wishes to stay for lunch, the Embassy Cafe will be open for coffee and refreshments on your own.
