Aileen Riotto Sirey, Ph.D.
Chair and Founder
Dr. Sirey founded NOIAW in 1980 with a group of other women including Geraldine Ferraro, Matilda Raffa Cuomo, Donna de Matteo, Constance Mandina, and Roseanne Colletti, Now retired, Dr. Sirey sustained a private psychotherapy practice for many years.
Kim K. Azzarelli, Esq.
Vice Chair
Kim K. Azzarelli is the General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Legal & Public Affairs for The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. Azzarelli serves on the Board of the Avon Foundation and the Advisory Committee of the Virtue Foundation.
Vivian Cardia
Secretary Chair, Development Committee
Vivian Cardia is an active participant in the Italian American community and a long time member of NOIAW. When she obtained her Broker-Dealer License in 1982, Cardia was among the first Italian American women on the New York Stock Exchange. She participates in a number of organizations including the Columbus Citizens Foundation, the Italian Legions of Merit, High Ridge Country, and is Secretary of Liguri Nel Mondo.

Patricia A. Martone is a partner at Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Group and a co-head of the firm's International Practice Group. A renowned expert on intellectual property case law, Martone has been named as one of The Best Lawyers in America (2003-2009) and New York Super Lawyers (2006-2008).
Betty Santangelo, Esq.
Chair, Finance and Budget Committee
Betty Santangelo, partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel, LLP, is widely known and honored for her expertise in securities enforcement and corporate compliance issues. She has been honored as one of the Best Lawyers in America, a New York Super Lawyer, and received the 2008 Burton Award for Legal Achievement.
Cristina Matera, MD
Chair, Membership and Program Committee
Dr. Matera specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and currently practices at Madison Women’s Health & Fertility in Manhattan. Dr. Matera is Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She was included in New York Magazine’s The Best Doctors in New York 2002 issue.
Donna de Matteo
Chair, Nominating Committee
NOIAW Founding Member, Donna de Matteo is the Vice President of the Herbert Berghof (HB) Studio, as well as chair of the Playwriting Department at HB Studio. Among her numerous accolades, her play, Her Name is Kathy, was included in The Best American Short Plays 2001-2002, and one of her most recent plays, The Heart Transplant, starred her Emmy-winning daughter, Drea de Matteo.
Hon. Angela Mazzarelli
Hon. Angela Mazzarelli was designated Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department of the New York State Supreme Court in 1994 by Governor Mario M. Cuomo. Justice Mazzarelli became the second woman appointed to ever sit in that court.
